Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) is part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who accesses or uses Tranzio — the Tranzio desktop application, the website at tranzio.studio, and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Tranzio LLC, a limited liability company registered in the country of Georgia (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Capitalized terms that are not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
Our goal is to keep Tranzio a safe, lawful, and respectful place to create and share localization content. This AUP explains what is not allowed, the commitments we make in return, and how to report a problem. By using the Service, you agree to follow this policy.
1. Prohibited Content and Conduct
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- share harmful or illegal content;
- create offensive, abusive, hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful translations;
- include sexual or adult (18+) audio in a translation;
- use, clone, imitate, or synthetically generate another identifiable person’s voice or vocal likeness without that person’s authorization;
- create audio that falsely presents a real person as having said or done something they did not, including any synthetic or “deepfake” imitation of a real person’s voice;
- use third-party music, recordings, or other audio that you do not have the rights to use;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party, including the rights, terms, or policies of any game or its publisher;
- harass, threaten, or abuse other users, or engage in hate speech;
- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- remove, hide, or falsify another creator’s credit or attribution, or present another person’s work as your own;
- violate the privacy of others or collect their personal data without a lawful basis;
- spam or post unauthorized commercial communications;
- introduce viruses or other harmful software;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure, or attempt to extract, derive, or access its underlying source code, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
- charge any fee for a translation or otherwise sell translations — downloading a translation is always free;
- maintain more than one account, or sell or transfer your account to anyone else;
- use any bot, scraper, or other automated means to access or collect content from the Service, carry out text or data mining, or use the Service or its content to develop or train any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system or model, except with our prior written permission; or
- facilitate or encourage anyone else to do any of the above.
Content that breaks these rules will be blocked or removed, and the account responsible may be warned, suspended, or terminated.
Translations are user-generated content created and uploaded by users, not by Tranzio. We do not review, approve, or pre-screen translations before they are shared, and we are not obligated to monitor user content; a creator’s translation and the views expressed in it are their own and are not endorsed or verified by us. We rely on reports and notices: anyone, including any rights holder, can report content, and we remove or block content that breaks these rules or infringes rights promptly on a valid report or notice, and we may suspend or terminate repeat infringers (see “Reporting Violations” below and our Copyright and DMCA Policy).
2. Our Commitments
Tranzio is built to respect the rights of game creators and publishers. In return for the rules above, we commit to the following:
- We do not store, host, copy, or distribute original game files or assets of any kind. Nothing from any game — no text, audio, fonts, or anything else — is kept on our servers.
- The Service runs on a user’s own device, using software the user already owns. To create or apply a translation, you must already own, and have installed on your own device, the original game.
- Translations created and shared through the Service contain only user-created localization content — the translated text and audio that a creator makes — and never any original game asset. Applying or downloading a shared translation also requires the recipient to own the game.
- Downloading a translation is always free. We do not sell translations, and we do not let creators charge for them.
- We remove content promptly at the request of a rights holder.
- We act quickly on reports of content that breaks our rules, and we maintain a zero-tolerance stance toward content you do not have the rights to use.
3. Reporting Violations
If you come across a translation or any other content that you believe breaks this policy, please report it so that we can review and act on it:
- use the in-app report button on the translation or content in question;
- email us at support@tranzio.studio; or
- for copyright complaints and other intellectual-property matters, contact legal@tranzio.studio and follow the process in our Copyright and DMCA Policy.
To help us act as quickly as reasonably possible, please include a link to, or a clear description of, the content and tell us which rule you believe it breaks. We review every report we receive and remove or block content that violates this policy or the Terms of Service.
4. Enforcement
We may take whatever action we consider appropriate to enforce this policy. We may block or remove content, and we may warn, suspend, or permanently terminate any account involved in a violation. We may also remove or edit content as needed to bring it into compliance with this policy or to meet a legal or rights-holder request.
If your access to paid features is forfeited because of a violation of this policy, you will not be entitled to a refund, as set out in our Terms of Service. If you believe we have removed your content, or suspended or terminated your account, by mistake, you can appeal — and ask any questions about this policy — by emailing support@tranzio.studio. We review appeals in good faith and, where we find we acted in error, restore the affected content or account where we are reasonably able to do so.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means that you accept the revised policy.
